====== Edit account areas ======

You get to this menu topic via **//Articles/Edit accounting areas.//** This is where you define which product groups belong to which account areas. This makes the work for the accounting a lot easier, as the totals of the daily balance do not have to be added up every day. The figures are already available.

  - **//Abbr.//** - enter a short name with up to four characters.
  - **//Name//** - enter the posting name.
  - Add the corresponding product groups either by typing in the short names or by using the button with the list function, so you can select each product group.
