PC CADDIE is compatible with the following Windows Client versions:

    * Windows 8 and 8.1 (32 or 64 Bit, Professional or higher versions are recommended)
    * Windows 10 (32 or 64 Bit, Professional or higher versions are recommended)

PC CADDIE is compatible with the following Windows Server versions:

    * Windows Server 2012 (32 or 64 Bit)
    * Windows Server 2012 R2 (32 or 64 Bit)
    * Windows Server 2016 
    * Windows Server 2019

===== Terminal Server Environments =====

The installation of [[en:sonstigefunktion:advantagedatabaseserver|Advantage Database Servers]] from Sybase® is mandatory for Terminal Server Environments (for example, Citrix). The installation of the ADS requires system administrator rights and should be performed by your network technician.

===== User =====


The installation of [[en:sonstigefunktion:advantagedatabaseserver|Advantage Database Servers]] from Sybase® is necessary if there are more than five Pcc applications (including all user + online applications (Card server,  [[en:online:teetimeserver:teetimeserver|]])).

===== Important information on web access to PC CADDIE: =====


**APP for access via a web browser or via Remote Desktop Services.**

External and operating system independent access to the PC CADDIE Software. 

  * no Windows server infrastructure required
  * regardless of whether the database is installed locally or in the cloud
  * Ideal for remote access and RDP access to local systems.



**1. Supported operating systems:**

  * Windows 7 with Service Pack 2
  * Windows 8/8.1 
  * Windows 10 Pro 
  * Windows Server 2008 SP2/Small Business Server SP2 or 2008 R2 SP1 
  * Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2
  * Windows Server 2016
  * Windows Server 2019
  * 32 and 64 bit systems are supported
  * .NET Version 3.5 or higher is required.

**2. Other important information**

If you install access to PC CADDIE via the web browser on a Windows 2008 to 2019 (additional software application), make sure that: 

  * the RDS or Terminal Services roles and the RDS Terminal Services license role are not installed before you install the application
  * Windows 10 Home Edition is not supported
  * A maximum of 15 sessions are allowed on Windows Server 2016 (with RemoteApp Mode)
  * Windows Server 2019 Essentials Edition does not support RemoteApp Mode
  * When installing on W10 Pro systems: do not use them as workstations for local users, this may cause problems.


**3.Recommended hardware requirements*:**

PC or server with technical components that correspond to the current state of the art.

  * 4 GB RAM; CPU with min. 2 GHZ 
  * 10 I5 or higher; 8 GB RAM ; CPU with min. 2 GHZ
  * 25 I7 or Xeon; 16 GB RAM ; CPU with min. 3 GHZ
  * 50+ min. Dual-CPU; 32 GB RAM ; SSD-Disk
