The tenders change every year. Therefore, please check whether the following example matches your requirements.
The following options are available, for example:

• Tournament over 2 rounds can be organised in one tournament if the team score can be set the same in each round, e.g. 1 string per round
• Tournament must be created in a 2-round tournament if, for example, 1 string is needed across all rounds (regardless of whether a four-player result or a single result is cancelled).
• Tournament can be run in 1 overall tournament if the team score cannot be set the same in each round, e.g. 1st round score 3 foursomes results, 2nd round score 5 individual results. Set the team score for the round with the most results to be added, e.g. 5 individual results should be scored (6 players). Then copy the team scoring setting to the other round. Or use the helper and change the setting under „Special scoring“ to suit. VERY USEFUL TIP! Read Number of foursomes and singles different
• Tournament can be played in 2 individual tournaments if the team score cannot be set the same in each round, e.g. 1st round all scores, 2nd round 1 string. In this case, use the multi-team scoring for printing your results list. Please bear in mind, however, that the overall team ranking can only be published on the Internet as a PDF, for example.

Interclub championships can be organised easily and professionally in PC CADDIE. In the following example, the men's, seniors' and ladies' inter-clubs are played in teams (clubs) of 6 players each over 36 holes. Only 4 players/club compete in the senior women's competition. The form of play in this case is: the first day is played as Foursome Strokeplay, the second as Single Strokeplay. There is one scratch result for each team in each round, so that a total of 7 results are counted (for the senior women there is no scratch result in the 1st round, but a scratch result in the 2nd round = Total 5 results).

Due to the desired team scoring with 1 scratch result per round, this tournament can be organised as a 2-round tournament.

As usual, create a new 36-hole tournament in PC CADDIE:

The game form „Foursome“ here in the main tournament screen is only valid for the first round. To set the game form for the second round, click on the button Special.

Here you have the option of defining the second round as an individual evaluation.

Now that the basic settings of the tournament have been made, you can create the start list according to the regulations.

As soon as the start list has been created, switch back to the main screen to create the individual teams. Click on the button Team ranking.

Make sure that you are in the 1st round:

You will see a list of all participating pairings for the Foursomes in yellow. To sort these by club, click on the button Helper. You will be shown various options for the team ranking, select „X scratch results per club/group“. Now enter „1“ for the placeholder „X“:

In the subsequent window, it is important to specify „Separate by round“:

Finally, define that all team players belong to one club:

Use the next window to start the team assignment you have entered:

This creates the teams for the first round. From the original yellow list with the players' names, you can now recognise the individual clubs with the three Foursomes pairings.

To edit the second round, load all players from the first round into the second round. To do this, click on the button Players button and select the second round:

The start list is currently still empty. Go to the menu under Edit/Load start list from other tournament/other round. With Load players with flight division all players from the first round are loaded into the second round:

Please create the corresponding start list for the second round according to the regulations.

The next step is to form a team for the second round in the same way as for the first round.

Finally, you can carry out a brief check of the settings and define the printout of the results: Click on the button Spec. Wertung:

The round results should be printed out one below the other:

Enter the results in PC CADDIE as usual. To print the team results list for both rounds, go to Team ranking and Print. Make sure that the tick for the overall list is set and 2 rounds are selected.

If a printout of the results of the individual rounds is desired, please make the appropriate setting.

If there are two teams with the same number of strokes, the better scratch result counts. In this case, go to the team ranking again and select the corresponding team with Edit individually or by double-clicking on it:
